C'est la formation universitaire qui les différencie. Le chiropraticien a un doctorat universitaire de premier cycle d'une durée de 5 ans pour 245 crédits. Le physiothérapeute a un baccalauréat d'une durée de 3 ans et demie pour 105 crédits.
